LIFTY APPRECIATION DAY

- MARCH 6th, 2008 -

Lift operators have one of the toughest jobs around. We wouldn't be able to scoot up and down the mountain without their tireless efforts to keep the chairs running safely and swiftly.

We want to say "Thank You" to the Lifties on Mt. Hood by handing out candy bars on the mountain throughout the day on March 6th. SFC upcoming events

That evening, we will be hosting a Lifty Appreciation Dinner, another way of saying thank you by offering hot homemade spaghetti served with garlic bread and salad. Staff members and friends from Timberline, Meadows, and Ski-Bowl are all welcome.

iTune & uTune

- MARCH 10th, 2008 -

Grab your boards and your ipods, we'll be tuning, waxing and listening to an eclectic mix of music the evening of March 10th. Everyone is welcome to stop by and give their board or skis a facelift. We'll provide the wax, irons and tools for free.

taking the message to the mountains...

Photo by Sarah McAllisterSnowboarders For Christ is an international non-profit organization dedicated to sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ in mountain towns all over the world. SFC's main thrust is to show the love of Christ through everyday interactions with people. Through "Friendship Evangelism," as it's been dubbed, SFC hopes to promote a genuine concern for all people as a way of life. SFC also seeks to become a support system for young people from area churches, because creating a community feel amongst all believers is an important step to achieving Christian unity. As a whole, SFC feels that the body of Christ should be unified and working together in harmony to reach their community effectively.
